This summer, join Heifer Productions as part of their Young Creatives team to shape, design and perform in our professional production, In Plain Sight.

For three weeks during summer, work with a professional designer and director to research queer history, create a ten minute performance and help us design character costumes for our show.

Workshops take place at the National Science and Media Museum, Bradford and are totally free to attend!

At the end of the workshops you can choose whether you would like to perform as an actor in our play or support the design and stage management team on the day.

Research Volunteers

As part of In Plain Sight, we will be taking two young volunteers to research Bradford and the Uk's queer heritage.

Work with a professional researcher to search the archives in Bradford to discover the city's LGBTQ+ history.

We will spend one day at the National Science and Media Museum in Insight, exploring the collections not on general view to the public and working with their experts to find images and forgotten information.

A further two days will be spent at the West Yorkshire Archives searching for information related to the Bradford 1931 pageant, Gwen Lally and LGBTQ+ stories which have been forgotten.

Late July, TBC with volunteers

Central Bradford

Free, and up to £10 expenses available
